Coercion Is Not A Choice
I am an RN and have been unemployed since December of 2021 because I refused to take the jab. I worked on the frontlines throughout the whole crisis. I loved my job, yet they say I “Involuntary Resigned” … well, that is a stinking lie. It is ILLEGAL AND HORRIBLE to treat our frontline heroes like this. I am heartbroken.
I was denied a recommendation from managers and unemployment benefits. That is a complete retaliation, and there are STILL employees working at the facility I left that have not received the “jab” … DOUBLE WHAMMY … discrimination!
I have searched for employment now for 4.5 months as an RN-BSN. I have been ousted by “society” as a Healthcare worker who is “unsafe” to work in the field by my family, who some perceive as “germ-filled” because I have not been “jabbed” or “I did not take one for the team.”
My professional contacts view this as “my choice,” like I got what I deserved. I will stand firm knowing that COERCION is not a choice. It is tyrannical and humanistically wrong based on flawed thinking.
Let me be clear here; I am not a victim. I am not whining, saying I am a victim. I believe I am here for such a time as this. Proud of it because I am strong. But what I will say is that I have given up everything to keep my integrity and self-respect.
I would not change a thing. WHY? I did the right thing for me. I know it. Things are never what they seem.
